Hi guys! I just bought a Monstera acuminata, and I would like to know if anyone here knows what type of soil suits this plant? Thanks π
I think loamy soil is going to work more, dude..
Have you ever thought about trying a mixture of peat moss, perlite, pumice, and orchid bark? It might be just the thing for your plant! And if you're looking for a more acidic soil, around 6.0-6.5 might be just right.
I think you can use soil mix with:
- 2 parts potting mix,
- 1 part perlite or coarse,
- 1 part orchid bark
This green plant is a little picky when it comes to its planting media, but I'm sure we can figure it out together! It's best to choose a planting media that has good drainage, like an organic soil mix made of perlite, orchid bark, and coco coir.
